"This cute, quaint place offers a great variety of pastries and beverages. We snacked on the carrot cake bomb, a muffin-cake blend. Incredibly tasty."
"I spent almost $20.00 on an iced latte, a blueberry banana loaf, and two cookies. The iced latte was gross: over-extracted/acidic. I tried my friend’s strawberry iced latte: same thing. Please retrain staff on how to properly use the espresso machine. The pebble ice cubes were annoying: coming up through the straw as they melted down. Ended up throwing the coffee away. The blueberry banana loaf was served cold and mushy/soggy. Threw half of it away. Cookies were okay. Everything looked better than it tasted."
"actually the worst coffee shop in new haven. i walked in and no one was at the counter for 10 mins. and why are they playing edm at 9am in the morning and actually blasting it. asked the counter person (once they finally emerged from the back) to lower the volume and she ignored me rip. the food looks so yummy and then ur so disappointed bc its not yummy. im so sad."
"Place looks great. The window display has very good looking pastries to go with your coffee. The iced coffee, though, was difficult to drink. Ordered an iced late to sip on a hot day, but the ice used is the ice pebbles type found on soda machines, not the cubes found on most craft coffee shops so you must drink it with a straw. The coffee itself was very strong (which I enjoy) but tasted burnt. The lemon bread is about 2” thick so it’s hard to bite while sipping a coffee. Not pleasant. The place does have potential. I’ll give them another shot but for now, not impressed."
"Very good coffee place with lots of sweets and cakes and different kinds of coffee and tea. Loved it. Their italian macchiato is the best. They don't really have food or sandwiches, but some times they have bagels that you can have with cream cheese or butter. The staff is very nice and friendly."
