"My son had a well visit scheduled for today and tested positive for COVID a couple days ago. I called the office to let them know I'd reschedule his appointment to avoid exposing other children since he would be quarantining still. The front desk person who answered the phone told me to just have him wear a mask and still come (he's 2, no chance). Then when I said there's no way I can keep a mask on him and he's sick; why would I want to expose other healthy kids knowing he's COVID positive? The next physical with ANY doctor isn't until March 1st. 2 months away??? I have 2 kids that go here and appointment scheduling has been wild for quite a bit now. Not a huge fan of the doctor we see, but she was the only one with reasonable openings for both kids. However she is NOT up to date on safe sleep practices and couldn't answer questions I had about my then 2 month old and swaddling at the time... I went here as a kid but I think it's time to search for another practice to bring my children to."
"The medical staff is excellent. However, their administrate process for appointments is antiquated and inflexible. They won’t allow you to schedule follow ups in office that is more than 3 months away. Scheduling physicals for your child is therefore a task that you have to manage independently. Every other practice in existence schedules routine examinations on checkout or will, on request, send an appointment letter when an opening becomes available. They won’t send scheduling notifications nor will they add your child to a wait list for cancellations if you forget to call at the appropriate intervals. Further, wellness visits and or sick visits are impossible to get if it is not a same day appointment. Their patient load is clearly too large and whatever administrator is responsible for their scheduling policies demonstrates that they are more concerned with their internal efficiencies than with patient care."
"Have had custody of my great grandchildren for a year and a half. The doctors, nurses and staff at both the Westfield and West Springfield locations are phenomenal! Compassionate, professional and wonderful with the children."
"Legit the worst doctors office I've ever been too. They brush everything off and send you away. Don't listen to your concerns. The answering system is the dumbest thing in the world. You cant make an appointment for your sick child. And then get told to just goto the hospital if you cant wait. Freaking insane."
"First off I’d like to say that I have brought several children to this office for over 30 years. That’s right 30. When it started off being just three doctors one office and they were phenomenal. Those were the good old days and over so many years I have seen PAHC spiral downward. Very sad. West Springfield office staff in particular is super rude. Like extremely rude for no reason. Westfield is not great either but a little bit better than West Springfield. As far as Doctors goes, it depends who you get there are some very good doctors and some quacks like literally I don’t know how they got their license. When my daughter was very very sick with an illness instead of getting to the bottom of it the doctor wanted to know if I was religious. When I told her it was none of her business and that we were going to base her medical care on science she got an attitude."
