"I have my left hip replacement surgery 6 weeks ago with Dr. McLawhorn. From the time I came to see him all my fears were eased by his compassionate, kind and caring demeanor. Having the procedure performed by a highly skilled surgeon was truly wonderful. It was amazing that I experienced no pain and I could walk immediately after the surgery. I could walk without a cane on my 4th day after surgery but still used it for 3 weeks following his advise. Dr. McLawhorn used the best technique with computer assisted surgery and the best prosthesis parts. His team was excellent. I could always reach and got information promptly (including the nurse team). Thank you to Alex Roux, Dr. McLawhorn's Practice Manager, for taking care of me. She replied and assured me that my prosthesis is a titanium stem, ceramic head with highly cross link polyethylene (regular polyethylene may last only 10 years) with no cement method. This top grade material can last over 30 years or my lifetime. Alex even gave me the name of my prosthesis thus I could be certain that I would have all great materials. My recovery was remarkable due to Dr. McLawhorn excellent surgical skills. I have always been able to express my concerns with him. My post 6 weeks operation x-ray came out great! Thank you Dr. McLawhorn and your excellent team. I am so lucky to have him as my surgeon!"
