"I was a long time patient of this office for 16 years before moving to Florida for 4 years. Upon my recent return to Connecticut, I was very sick and needed to go to the doctor. I called this office, which I had belonged to for 16 years only to be told they are not taking new patients. This office has ALL of my medical records. I was told that if it was within 3 years I could come back as their patient but because it was 4 years I'm now considered a new patient. I called back a couple days later to see if they had a wait list for new patients and I was told no. They asked me who I saw when I came there and most of the time it was Joanna B., the PA. They said they would check with Joanna to see if she would take me back, and she said no. I am thoroughly disgusted with the medical care in this country, and most especially this office. Shame on pulmonary and internal medicine, Joanna, and the Yale group that took this office over. I thought this place was different, but clearly it is not. I suppose now I have to pay a bunch of money to get my 16 years of medical records from a place that won't continue my medical care."
