"Clean, super CARING and time efficient! I feel like every other walk in I have been to rolls their eyes at you. I go to Trumbull and went to New Haven for an X-ray. They even have tv!"

"Started my afternoon with a sinus infection making a 5:15 appointment for telehealth. Called to ensure my appointment was set and telehealth, this was confirmed but was told the provider was out of New Haven and they’re actually available at 6:30 and not 5:15. Get another call to make my copayment at 4:47. Ok, cool, until then it was silence. Well, 6:30 rolls around, nothing. I call at 6:35 to ensure I’m not missing something and was told my appointment was cancelled… I got no email, text or call of this and was told it was not them that cancelled it… well then who did? Staff said they’d call right back and talk to the manager and they did and I was set up with a call asking about my symptoms and allergies from a staff member and then sent a link for video chat. After 15 minutes on the video chat I get another call saying the provider is refusing to see me due to having too many patients. This is understandable during flu season but as I had an appointment and an error on their end was made I was a little upset. After some back and forth, I finally hung up and called the New Haven office where the physician was out of. I get told my appointment was still active and not cancelled and the physician within minutes took my call and helped me out, so to Shauna and the girl who’s name starts with N at Trumbull Urgent Care, you are liars and should learn some things from your New Haven office."

"***** Update ***** So I went back because my son was sick. I came at at 12:30 pm on Thanksgiving and was told no doctor was there but the front office could administer a test and the doctor could be called on virtual. I gave it a chance because I told Leah I would. My son has two insurances. I was told it was a $40 dollar copay to which I advised I had another insurance and gave her a second insurance. She told me the member ID and insurance info for the second insurance wouldn’t I’ll. That she needed an exact ID card. I advised her the only thing she needed was the member ID and to put it in. She told Me no. So I left and I’m going to PhysicianOne in Bridgeport who was able to input both insurance info and get it done. Leah, I’m sorry. The same girl at the front desk was the same girl who gave me an issue when I spoke to you and who was on a personal call for 5 minutes before helping me. You need to find a way to get a new front office receptionist. This isn’t that hard. I work for the insurance company. You don’t need a card to bill. Hartford and physicianone didn’t and now I had to drive my sick son who has strep, bronchitis and gastrointestinal 30 min both ways to get the help he should have been able to get from your facility. You need to fire her and retrain new staff. There’s a reason why you have endless 1 stars on here. Fix it. I’m appalled. He’s 9!! Just so you know the other person here walked out as well. I had an experience last Friday at the Trumbull AFC which wasn’t great. In response to my review the Regional Manager reached out. She not only commented, but she also called. To say I was impressed with her and how she handled everything would be an understatement. Leah didn’t just comment on a post. She went and retrained her staff across the AFC’s she oversees to make sure they all knew how to handle the situation if it happened again. She went above and beyond what I’ve ever seen from someone in response to a less then favorable review. Because of her I would choose to go to AFC again and would tell other people to give it a try also. That was top notch and I appreciate you. Anyone who takes that much care in their offices and staff is awesome to me. And just so everyone knows my review had nothing ti do with any doctors or back office staff. It was simply due to reception and how a drug screening was handled. That’s all. But I would definitely go back if I had a health concern because if it didn’t go well I know Leah would take care of it."

"This was my first time at this location. Initially, I called with questions and had the pleasure of speaking with Amanda at the front desk. She was so friendly and provided me with top shelf service. It was only after speaking to her that I decided to visit. Upon arrival, there was Amanda with a big smile and ready to assist. It only got better from there. Kristen, PA and Ardita, MA were fabulous. I didn’t feel like a number and they both really seemed to genuinely care. I was seen in a timely and efficient manner and off on my way to pick up my prescriptions Returning 2 days later for a follow up, I had the pleasure of seeing Nurse, Shanelle and Gabriel, PA. When I thought it couldn’t get any better they not only met my expectations but exceeded them. Gabriel is in it to win it for sure. Extremely caring and down to earth. In the event you are seeking urgent care. I would highly recommend this location all day long! Thank you to all the top notch team at this location, they hit it out of the of park on every level!"

"Dr. Gabe was WONDERFUL! You never know what to expect when going to a walk-in, but he was probably one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. He was so good with my 3 year old daughter, he spent so much time with us giving advice and suggestions. I never felt rushed and I felt like I’ve known him for a long time and could really trust him. He definitely cares about his job and is a really great doctor."
