"I ADORE Mansfield OBGYN! I had my daughter with them and had the absolute best experience with all the providers. I love that they deliver at Manchester Memorial. Im in 3rd trimester with my 2nd child and I moved back to Mansfield OBGYN after a bleh experience with a Glastonbury obgyn. Dr Gildersleeve is the best! He is attentive, listens and has alot of knowledge and experience. The providers care about your needs and dont spend the visit with their face buried in a laptop. They give you face time & genuine compassion. Nurses are always fantastic!! Cant recommend this practice enough."

"I recently switched OB’s because I’m moving out to the area, but also because my other OB didn’t schedule appointments when needed, and was horrible at communicating with me. I called this OB to transfer and they made it so easy, scheduled a phone appointment for the next day, and a prenatal appointment the day after. I saw Shannon Morgan I believe, and when I tell you my experience made me so incredibly happy, I told everyone about it. She made me feel super comfortable, even let me know my husband was allowed in & went to go get him immediately so he could be included for the appointment. She listened to every single concern I had, she answered all me and my husbands questions. She didn’t rush us, she took her time explaining things to us. She made us feel very welcomed and excited to be at an appointment. She ordered labs that my last OB failed to do, she also scheduled my next appointment and made sure I understood everything that was going to happen in my next appointment, which my last OB failed to do. I really had such an amazing experience seeing Shannon, and I am excited to go back."

"If I could rate with negative stars I would. So disappointed in this place it’s hard to put in words. If you are pregnant and there is a risk/threat to your pregnancy or you are in pain I would highly recommend to find a different place. First they didn’t think it was a good idea to tell me my Dr isn’t seeing pregnant patients anymore, after I had already seen her. Also had my pregnancy from the day I found out a risk of it being ectopic. They sent me from ultrasound to ultrasound, even though it was way to early to see anything, but didn’t try to monitor it with more bloodwork. And when they did order bloodwork it got mixed up and they didn’t actually get a result back, which didn’t seem to concern them too much. My last blood was so bad that they called me, said they think it is ectopic and scheduled me to come in TWO WEEKS from then. While in the meantime, the new place I am now going to, had 3 people work on my phone call to get me in asap. It resulted in me needing same-day surgery as it was already leaking and could have burst any minute which would have led to an emergency surgery. Because it wasn’t “caught” earlier my right tube was then damaged and needed to be removed. By the time the day of “my appointment” (which I never even confirmed because I wasn’t comfortable waiting this long) came by I was already healed from surgery and back at work. Healthy. Which could have been way worse. They then had the audacity to charge me $45 for a No-Show on the appointment. I have little to no words for how this situation was handled, the amount of stress they put me in and how poorly this place communicates with their patients. At least the girl in the billing department was nice and competent."

"As a 33 year old, engaged, established, pregnant for the first time woman, I did NOT expect to be treated the way I was at this practice. I was told that I would be tested for OPIATES. Now, I understand that we are located in a economically depressed area but I wouldn’t think accusing pregnant women of being on hard drugs is the way to make anyone feel comfortable or want to return. I am disgusted and questioning the medical ethics of this practice. I will not return, I’m extremely offended and in shock. Already booked an appointment with a new practice. Edit to add I am heavily tattooed, but in no way way is my art an excuse to peg me as a terrible human being. Also the receptionist and nurse were great, no issues there."
