"Just had a appointment scheduled for a week and a half now and the morning of the appointment today … Dr. Willenborg was supposed to see my 3 children to figure out if they were exposed to mold & asbestos as my old apartment, was condemned due to these issues & was told that Dr. Powell was going to contact me tomorrow morning to schedule my kids were seeing her not dr Willenborg … as I had switched over due to the schedule, not working for me as she only works Tuesdays and Thursdays … I had already arranged for my children to go to their fathers last night in Willimantic as I live in Norwich so they could go to this appointment and that I would pick them up afterwards to bring them to school here in Norwich. now I have to drive all the way to Willimantic to pick them up and bring them to school. This was so unnecessary. I don’t see what the issue was just to see them to see if they had mold allergies. It would’ve been a quick appointment I felt like it was sort of discrimination type of thing because I just don’t understand what the problem was. My kids have seen other doctors in the practice if their dr was not available in the past and the appointment this is urgent and very important for the safety and well-being of my children’s health now they will going how ever long it takes to get in with dr Powell again & was told it was a office error sorry."

"I called to make a new patient appointment and the call center lady was rude from the beginning (plus it was very hard to understand her). She insisted that I needed a Mansfield address to register and for new patients I needed to wait for two months. I have been to many states and practices and this was the first time I heard about this policy. Oh, and by the way, she unwillingly started to register for my kid, and asked me to wait. After three seconds, she hung up on me. Best service ever!"

"Our dog's veterinarian provides more comprehensive and empathetic care than this practice. If you respect yourself and your child's health, do not use Mansfield Pediatrics. We chose to switch practices after waiting over three weeks for a referral to be sent to CT Children's for our infant's breathing & swallowing issues which led to severe weight loss. When we called to follow up about the status of the referral after not hearing from CT Childrens, we were told the person who did referrals "was out of the office". Dr. Zheng did not call to follow up, check on the health of our baby, or confirm the status of the care plan. The lack of care for their patients is abhorrent. Shame on you, Mansfield Pediatrics, for gambling with the health and well-being of our children. Now we have waited over 3 weeks for Mansfield Pediatrics to fax our children's medical records to our new practice. Mansfield Pediatrics has repeatedly claimed that they have "not received the fax with the records release" even though the new practice has confirmation records of the fax being sent on two different occasions. If you respect yourself and your child's health, do not use Mansfield Pediatrics."

"Pro health has ruined this place with their call centers and what not although it was already pretty bad. Dr W refuses to give referrals instead wanting me to contact birth to 3 to get one from them which makes no sense. She is also very out of touch with the medical knowledge of today and has no understanding of autism despite how common it is now. She also has a very strange preoccupation with size and kept telling me my daughter was overweight despite her BMI always being in the normal range. I’m pretty sure this is because I am fat and she assumes I will make my child fat with my disgusting lifestyle. Every time we come there is at least 30-45 minutes of waiting AFTER our appointment time which is very hard for my autistic daughter. The entire office and building is dilapidated and the equipment is very old and worn. Gross carpets, wobbly floors, the whole bit. The receptionists are also always VERY VERY rude. The nurses and medical assistants are awesome and do such a good job, though. I hope they know they deserve better than this place. Update: in retaliation for this review my daughter’s records were held hostage for over 50 days despite the legal requirement being 30 days. Absolutely horrible and I am filing an official complaint."

"I adore my son's Doctor. Dr. Elliott was my pediatrician and he is phenomenal with my child. However, since prohealth has taken over this practice has gone down hill. I can't get sick visits for my child and the people I speak to are rude! I've been unable to schedule sick visits for my son 3 separate times now. They tell me to take him to urgent care. They schedule sick visits in whatever prohealth office they choose it's not even guaranteed your child will be seen in the same office they usually go to! We love Dr. Elliot but I think I'm going to take my son somewhere else!"
