"In relation to “Dr.” Kerrigan, this person should not be allowed to practice medicine. Three months into the pregnancy Kerrigan mis-read blood work and mis-diagnosed our unborn baby with a life threatening disease. She gave us the option of abortion or miscarriage. Leaving her was the best thing we ever did and has saved us so much stress and anxiety. She is a terrible excuse for a doctor and should not be trusted to greet people as they enter Walmart."
"Absolutely would not recommend the Avon office. I had the absolute worst experience with the provider at that office. After scheduling an appointment in January as a new patient with her (after I was told my PCP was no longer with Starling), I arrived for my appointment on Feb 21 and was escorted into an office by a staff member who told me that the new provider refused to see me as a patient because the medication I am prescribed for vertigo (on an as needed basis) is on the controlled substance list and it goes against her protocol. Not only did she refuse to see me but she waited until I arrived for my appointment to tell me instead of calling me prior to my appointment to cancel so that I did not waste my time coming to the appointment. I have never heard of a doctor refusing care before, especially due to a prescribed medication. She could have said she would not prescribe the medicine and still see me instead of denying care. The staff member then offered to give me a list of providers recommended by the new provider who do prescribe the medication. The new provider did not even have the courage to discuss this with me herself, she had her staff member do it. And surprisingly, an hour later I received a CVS alert that my prescription was ready for pickup, a prescription I never requested, filled by the new provider, for the very same medication that went against her protocol and was the reason I was denied care! I would not recommend that provider or Starling."
"I lost my original doctor at Sterling physician. They had called and left me a message telling me to call if I wanted to stay with them and give them a name of one of the doctors. I did make that phone call. When I asked me who my insurer was, I told them I am self insured do not have any insurance. She proceeded to tell me how there was a payment that had to be made before I could see anybody and I agreed to that. She didn’t put me on hold. Came back and told me that she would have to check into this and get back to me. We are now going on two weeks going into my third week. I have never heard back from them. It’s very unfortunate that these people discriminate against people who don’t have insurance . Not just that they just totally ignore you. Will never use these people"
"I called for a refill on a medication and was told my PCP was no longer with the practice - this was the first notice I had gotten. I made an appointment for a med check with a new provider, who was further away. Arrived this afternoon, 15 minutes early since it was a new doctor for me. After listening to the staff gossip loudly for 45 minutes in the waiting room, a tech brought me back and told me that they are not accepting new patients on the medication I take. She claimed that the person who made the appointment must not have been looking at my chart. That is absolute nonsense - I was discussing my prescription refill with that person at the time I made the appointment. The nearest doctor they’d put me with is an additional 20 minutes away. This is atrocious customer service - they should have made a phone call prior to the appointment or given me a reasonable alternative. This is not the first time they’ve messed up my medical care - it will definitely be the last time they’ll have that opportunity. My previous provider was wonderful and o put up with Starling’s rudeness and ineptitude because she was great. Now that she’s gone, I will find a PCP with staff who cares about the patients. Avoid Starling physicians."
"I've had an appointment booked for months, as a new patient. Now, less than a week before, I get a text saying that the appointment is cancelled because they are no longer taking new patients. Months ago when taking my info, the representative was rude and dismissive but I let it slide. I guess all of the other reviews are true. Don't waste your time here"
