"The worst!!! I went there to get checked my appointment was for 11:45, i sat around & waited until 12:20!!!! Just for them to call me up & tell me that they don’t accept my insurance, not sure how if i’ve gone there before and they accepted my insurance everytime! Waste of my time."

"I will give it as zero star as possible. The place used to be good, and now they want to do virtual with contract RNs only. Schedule for 11.15a got confirmationm show up and still have to wait over an hour to see a "virtual" person."

"Would not bother with this place again. I took an elderly family member in for a puncture wound and we were informed that they were doing virtual visits only. We figured okay, better than nothing. They had her fill out paperwork and hand over her ID and insurance card. Then several minutes later they informed her that her insurance is not accepted, even though their sign literally reads, "All insurances accepted." Seemed very unprofessional and uncaring. We then went to another urgent care down the street and had the exact opposite experience, wonderful care and professional staff. DOCS doesn't seem like they know what they're doing at all."

"Dr. Rex and his staff at the Southington DOCS, are kind, caring, compassionate, efficient and professional people who not only care but excel at what they do. Dr Rex always makes you feel like you’re the only patient he has for the day. You ALWAYS have time for your questions and and concerns to be answered and addressed. He sits patiently and emphatically listening to everything you want or need to talk about and thoroughly explains everything to you, whether it’s about your health concerns, a procedure you might be having, or the medication that he’s prescribing you. You NEVER feel rushed and never feel like your question might be a silly one. He also has quite a bit of knowledge of supplements and herbs which are beneficial or possibly harmful to his patients w/association to the meds they are or will be taking. He’s made suggestions pertaining to herbs or supplements to me every time I’ve gone to him. He’s very gentle, caring and knowledgeable, and just seems to pick up on the patients’ needs easily. The staff is very polite, professional and supportive, especially Valentina, who I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about. She’s sweet and compassionate and friendly and always smiling. You would think the woman never had a bad day, which I’m sure she does, but never shows it. It’s all about the patients with her. The hours are convenient and even though you never feel rushed, somehow you never have to wait a long time, if u have an appointment, either. Dr Rex is my primary care physician and when my previous PC of 35 years retired, I thought I’d never find one again who I liked, until I found him."

"No Dr. Virtual only. Nurse who apologized every 5 seconds for every single thing she "tried" to do. Tried 3 times to get blood pressure. Still never succeeded. I used to love this place. Went way down hill. Highly do NOT recommend. Not good experience at all. I will not ever go back to this place."
