"Office staff is great! front desk & all but the wait times are horrible specially when you have things to do I advise you to have at least 3 hours taken aside to come to your appointment it's ridiculous & unfortunate..."
"Office staff was not nice; offices are not equipped for any plus-size patients. No larger gowns, no larger blood pressure cuff. When I made my appointment I specifically said I needed my IUD removed. When I get to the appointment, at first Dr Peccerillo did not remove it, "assumed" I didn't want it removed "because they don't insert IUDs". What kind of gynecologist office does not put in IUDs?? At the first sign of something irregular after the removal, I am immediately told it "could be cancer" and that this "never happens" (not true). Also, I was not told that bloodwork I had done at Quest would then be sent to another doctor in their large network for pathology review, for which I would be billed - and when I called the offices to say that I wasn't told this, billing was rude. They also wanted to do excessive procedures on me which were NOT warranted per my follow-up with another doctor/practice for a second opinion. I have no trust in them, had no good experience with any person associated with the practice or larger group and wouldn't ever recommend them or return. Found a much better, more competant practice up in South Windsor."
"I have been in the process of looking for a new office, however had a medical issue I needed addressed immediately. As I sit in my room an hour and a half after my appointment time I still haven’t been seen, just to be told the doctor has been called out for delivery. It is understandable that this happens, however, they have nobody else on staff to cover in these emergencies which is unacceptable. I am contacting a new doctor while waiting to actually be taken care of here. This is not the first time something like this has happened."
"I made an appointment with Dr. Fanning, waited an hour and then was told he went into delivery and had to resched another day with another doctor because he is booked up. I reschedule for a week later with dr denehey for 11:30. I get to the office and they tell me my appointment was for 11:15 even though I have 11:30 on the card that they wrote for me, they tell me I need to wait 6 patients ahead of me. So I waited almost two hours to be seen. he comes In and does apologize for the wait , then proceeds to rush through my appointment. I’m 3 months along so I know there’s not too much to see but I would have appreciated seeing the ultra sound for more than 3 minutes, then he acted surprised I asked to hear the heartbeat . The entire appointment lasted about 15 minutes, this is my first pregnancy… and my very first appointment .I’m already three months along you would think a doctor would go over the very basics of what to do such as make sure your staying hydrated and taking prenatal vitamins. I got absoloutely no information and a wrong due date. I switched over to Hartford ambulatory and almost cried how awesome they are there, they where on time for the appointment , went over SO much information I left with atleast 20 booklets of information and the ultrasound tech completely took her time and that’s how it should be , pregnancy is a special time and should be treated as such."
"The worst office I have been to they do not care about you or what you need. Dr wardzin had no communication skills. No bedside manner. No effort. First pregnancy and I had no clue about anything. Every time I would ask questions there would be no detailed answers. We barely spoke. The front desk was no better. Then when I switched doctors it took 3 times of me visiting the Wallingford office to receive my medical records after them not sending the records to the new doctor. Beyond lazy and very and inefficient wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy."
