"This has been the worst experience with a company. If you want peace of mind that your appliance will be fixed as soon as possible, then LOOK ELSEWHERE not at P.C Richards. Almost 2 weeks without a refrigerator and little to nothing has been done to resolve this. What is the point of buying insurance if it takes over 2 weeks to resolve an issue? Realized refrigerator (only SIX MONTHS old) was broken on January 15th. “Repair man” arrived on January 18th. He arrived with no tools and spent 5 minutes in the kitchen and said the issue was a compressor. We were told the piece was out of stock and needed to wait 5 days for it be fixed. Another repair man arrived on 1/23 and was fantastic. He spent 2 hours setting up the compressor only to find out that the starter was also broken. He felt horrible. Of course the company does not have the starter in stock either. That’ll take another 4 days to come in bringing us to 1/26. At this point we should be getting a brand new refrigerator if there is multiple things wrong with it. This company does not care about their customers and at this point, their health at all. We are lucky enough to have a spare refrigerator in the basement and that it has been cold enough to keep food in 3 coolers outside. If it was the middle of summer, not so much. Imagine we had babies who needed milk and medications. We have lost hundreds of dollars on food that has gone bad. It is one thing to have a broken dish washer or washing machine. A broken refrigerator that is taking weeks to fix? Now that’s a borderline HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE. If we want to get technical, we are being denied access to fresh and safe food which is denying us our right to health. They have not offered to pay for anything either or provide a stipend for any take out food. This company has done NOTHING to expedite the process or to alleviate the stress and inconvenience of this situation. It is a complete run around. How do you not have any pieces in stock? What kind of business are you running? Our family has spent thousands with this business and we will now we taking our business elsewhere. We have spent HOURS on the phone and we are still sitting with a broken refrigerator with no fix in sight. Again, what is the point of buying insurance if timely service is not being provided? Just awful. Thank you so much to Cassandra and Amerfy the repair man for being so helpful and apologetic."
"I purchased a 43 Samsung TV online, and PC Richards charged my credit card. Several hours later stating the TV was not in stock and I had to call PC Richards at their 800 # to make alternative arrangements. Selling merchandise, and charging a credit card, for items you do not have is FRAUD. You should not have charged my credit card, and you should have automatically refunded my money, without me having to call you and request it. Was not a good experience and i could have gotten TV off of Samsung Website, or Costco, or Best Buy. No longer a PCR customer."
"This has been one of the worst experiences I have had with this company. The service department and leadership (management) has been terrible. Trying to get a repair on my LG refrigerator, all week one excuse after another why they have to cancel my appointment. Today’s appointment was scheduled from 7-11am, once again they called me at 1101am and will not be coming, reached out to Manager. (Kevin) so far has done absolutely nothing to fix this. I would think twice before I ever buy anything else from PC Richard."
"I need to file a complaint against the credit card company and bank you use to finance your business. Synchrony bank is extremely corrupt! They do not really give your customers 2 years of an interest free credit card to pay for your appliances. Instead they add on 30% to customers accounts and most are totally clueless as to how this happened! If you review their hundreds of complaints on the consumer affairs website you will see I am not alone regarding this issue. Pc Richards, you need to be honest with your customers and contact me, advocating for your customers when they are lied to and so grossly deceived by synchrony bank that you are joined so closely with! In your response please leave a name and direct number to more fully address this problematic issue!"
"Ordered an air purifier filter replacement, and this was the only place that had them and ready for pickup the same day. It was ready less than 2 hours after I ordered and pickup was a breeze. Pretty neat location as they have some older appliances in the guest room where you enter to pick up your online ordered."
