"We bought a media center during Covid which took some time to be delivered but they constantly kept us up to date as to status. It was certainly worth the wait as well as the value received. We recently bought a couch and our salesman, Steve, was very patient and took a great deal of time answering our questions. As well, I have found that everyone at this store is nothing but pleasant and I would certainly recommend them for any furniture needs. A class act of an organization."
"This is my first time I ever posted on the actual site of a company with a complaint as usually the company customer service deals directly with me to resolve my issues. I even advised Thomasville that I do not want to complain online and prefer to address issues directly with the company. The quality of the dining set I purchased was Not to the standards of Thomasville furniture I purchased in the past. The customer service is poor. No one calls back and all correspondence is by text. The manager Peter is very rude and unprofessional. Never did I receive an apology for his behavior or attitude. Thomasville did send a service to my house finally but the manager was arguing with me on speaker phone that he didn't wish to repair it. The serviceman was accommodating and refinished the table and chairs. Peter rudely advised me that is is the quality you get for the price.( there were multiple area unsanded; my husband even got a splinter from the bottom of the chair). The color of the fabric was not as it appeared in the store. It appeared gray and was beige. I asked how much it would be to replace the seats with another fabric. I was advised someone would call me back multiple times and never received a call back I would never purchase furniture from there again."
"Not what it was. We have bought many pieces of Thomasville furniture over the years, and it was always great quality. Their service was also always excellent. In fact, we liked a couch we had gotten so much, that 15 years later we bought another of the same model to replace it. Within a few months, the cushions collapsed. We called and they replaced them. They collapsed again. We called again, and were told that the couch was now out of warranty, but that they wouldn't honor the warranty anyway, because they are new owners. We paid a lot for the couch and expected it to be of the same quality as the first one. It was not. The service is not. I see no reason to shop at Thomasville again. And I certainly do not consider whatever they are now the same company that Thomasville once was."
"Our purchasing experience was nice. Their delivery service was good. Trying to rectify damage on one of our chairs was OK. After a few months of waiting for a response we went back to the store and spoke to the salesman and was turned off by the typical "after the sale" attitude. Our issue was resolved but the feeling we got from the salesman of not being interested in helping us resolve the issue was a big turn off. Many years ago, our experience with Thomasville was fantastic. Today's Thomasville is just OK. I give them a "3" but our Canadel table and chairs a "5". Overall, "4"."
"Nice showroom of good quality Thomasville furniture. They also carry Canadel furniture which I own for many years and find to be very high quality in dining sets, but at very reasonable prices. The sales people were very good because they don't hawk you if you say you're just looking. Also when I wanted some private time to discuss things with my husband it wasn't a problem. All of their salespeople are designers so they will help you as much or as little of your design project as you want. Not just about what they sell but the complete design. I worked with Dorothy and she offered to come to my home at point in the future if I needed help or advice. The prices aren't cheap but they have fantastic sales, especially around holidays. I bought mine at 50% off and I know for a fact it wasn't marked up before the sale. I already knew what I wanted and how much it cost. They carry varying styles. It's up to you if one of them is for you."
