"I was looking to do some volunteer work for the senior center and I received a very rude call back from them today from some woman who didn’t even state there name and said she had to check what’s available there with some guy for volunteer work. I asked who do you have to check with she referred to the guy as him meaning she wouldn’t even give me the name of the person she had to check with regarding the volunteer work. Then she said you know what I’ll call you back and just hung up. I wouldn’t recommend doing volunteer work here. Just very disrespectful in my opinion."

"I am writing this review on behalf of my friend. Her uncle hired a woman that he met at this Senior Center to clean his house. Somehow she got him to buy a very expensive washing machine for her son and daughter-in-law and she also received a $1600 bonus from him. He is on a very fixed income; she absolutely took advantage of the situation and coerced money from him. Watch out for your loved ones!"

"A great friendly place and good resource for seniors. All sorts of activities are going on nearly every day. The lunch program is just excellent, with tasty food in just the right portions. The menu is planned nutritionally and the cost is a huge bargain at just $4 per meal. There are also interesting bus trips, movies and music, and other special events. Join in!"

"When I was 16 I was hired to work there through the youth service bureau and it was the best experience in my entire life. The staff was amazing. I learned so much from everyone there. I would stay longer then I was supposed to. I would come in and help Joel with cooking for the various events they held which were always so extravagant. The staff there were so wonderful with every senior that attended. Joel would buy a balloon to put on a chair for a senior if it was their birthday. He went above and beyond what he had to do. He and all the other wonderful staff treated the seniors like family. They welcomed me with open arms and treated me like I was family. I was asked to come back the following summer which I was so excited about and if they didn't have to give another ten a chance then they would have asked me back for a 3rd year. This is a wonderful environment for any senior and for anyone looking to volunteer. If I could give it a million stars I would!"
