This is due to their expertise and experience, as well as their on-site lab and x-ray. All their staff, including physicians, PA’s, nurses and technicians, are very personable and helpful. This starts when the front desk staff helps you to sign in. It continues when the respectful technician interviews you and takes your vitals. It’s followed up when the doctor, or other highly competent medical staff, compassionately and gently examines you. If you need tests, the appropriate personnel will make you feel at ease while performing the test. When you leave, you will know that you will have had the best medical care possible. As far as convenience is concerned, just walk in as they are open seven days a week, have short wait times and take most insurances. If you prefer, you can also schedule online. Do yourself a favor and visit an AFC Urgent Care Center for your medical needs."

"Called AFC Urgent Care Torrington, for appointment went spoke with Nurse, saw Dr, nice, knowledgeable woman, did test, wait of 15 minutes and we had a script for special anti-virus med because I am high risk for COVID-19 complications! Quick and efficient! Trip to Pharmacy got the script filled, saw cash price of $1,668 covered by UHC! Two days passed and feeling better!"

"We waited a long time - 2 hrs in the waiting room, and then another hour in the patient room. Although being the height of flu season, it wasn’t a huge shock. It seems like they could use more staff on hand, but I guess that’s everywhere in the medical community post-COVID. Besides that, the receptionist, nurse, and Dr were all very kind despite their long and full days. The Dr had a very good bedside manner, and we were treated with kindness and respect. I would rather have that than a faster, more efficient, but cold hearted experience."

"I never thought that I would rate an Urgent Care, but I had to in this case as I was thoroughly satisfied with this facility. Maybe I walked in at a day/time when it wasn't busy, but I was in & out in 30 minutes, maybe even 25 minutes flat. Staff were so sweet & kind, Mary Leahy (spelling) examined me & she was wonderful. The facility was super clean too. I wouldn't hesitate to stop in here again should I need anything that wouldn't require a hospital visit & can't wait to be seen by my physician."
