"Why are the pharmacists so rude? They have their own hours do whatever whenever, why so grumpy still????"
"Problems with this pharmacy since I switched plans starting Jan 2023. Ordered a refill for drug from 1 of my physicians that was previously filled by them, but they sent it to the wrong and was rejected. When I called 7 days later asking the status of the refill, was told they never heard from the MD. I contacted the office and was told they never heard from Walgreens. The refill was filled and then 2 days later rec'd a msg stating it was too early for a refill and it would cost over $1000. When I switched plans in January, I gave them my charge card to keep on file, and twice they told me it was rejected because they entered the wrong number into their system. Last week I commented on all the issues I've had at this location, I was told they like to hear positive feedback. I never had similar problems with Stop and Shop, and will try another location to see if the service will be better than on Federal Road in Danbury."
"Very poorly managed. We visited this location on 2 occasions and both times they didn't have it together. First time was to acquire medication. We stood on a line for more than half an hour, then the pharmacist did not seem to know how to process our insurance. After multiple attempts, we finally were able to get the prescription. Second time was when we tried to get film from a disposable camera developed. My wife went to the department marked "PHOTO" and the young woman was there texting on her phone. After a couple of minutes of this person not looking to acknowledge her, my wife asked her if this is where we get film developed. The lady told her it was, but they were out of envelopes. When my wife asked what she should do, she replied, "Go somewhere else." My wife asked another associate to speak to the manager. Apparently, she only pretended to call him because when an assistant happened to be walking the floor, she mentioned no one ever called for a manager. We took the film to a nearby CVS location, and they were happy to accept our business. Never again!"
"I feel bad giving such a low rating because everyone who works here is always nice and friendly. It seems like corporate has forgotten about this location. The pharmacy hours have been cut to 10-6 weekdays only. This is not only inconvenient, but it means that there is always a big line at the pharmacy. To make things worse, it seems like all of the systems the pharmacy relies on are perpetually broken. Last time I got an automated reminder that my Rx was ready the pharmacy staff told me that they hadn't gotten shipments yet and to try again tomorrow. Today I went for a scheduled vaccine appointment and everyone getting one was turned away because the reporting system was down. Avoid this location for everything except over the counter."
