"Nice big playground. Amazing view of the river! I like the location of this park as well. So many places near by ( Walmart, mall, coffee shop, restaurants) you can just grab some food and spend a nice time with your family there. Even if it’s raining there is a shelter. It is perfect place for a small birthday parties."
"Very nice baseball fields that have electronic score boards. On Wednesday evenings they also have a farmers market. There us alot of parking but not many handicap spots."
"We go to North west park every year for Labor Day picnic from Church. It’s nice , clean, quiet , I like it! They have play ground for children. So, if you have kids , they will like it."
"This park is so awesome, it has something for everyone. There is a large playscape for the kids as well as a terrific Children's Butterfly Garden. There is a pavilion with kitchen facilities and bathrooms for renting for parties and many trails to walk along to enjoy the river views and nature."
"This is a beautiful park. Spread out with many different areas. There are ball fields and volleyball courts, there's a pavilion, a small butterfly garden, my children's favorite the Boundless Play area, walking paths around the grounds, along with a small pier that looks out onto Union Pond. The play area has two areas, one for smaller children between ages 2-5 years and the larger area that is designed for children between 5-12 years old. The unique and amazing fact about the older kids playscape is that it was designed to be wheel chair accessable. The walking trails and pavilion are well maintained and there are multiple bathrooms scattered throughout the park. The view from the pier is beautiful and you might even see wildlife on/in the pond or people in small watercrafts out on the water. All in all this is a great park with a lot to do and somewhere I'll be taking the kids back to."
