Lutz Children's Museum

"Staff: 5 stars Space/size of area: 3 stars Price: 3 stars I read that this was a small space but it didn’t think it was just going to be one main room. Granted they fit a lot in. Overall, it was fun for an hour or two but we probably won’t come back but the kids had funny and that’s what matters. Reservations required, so you reserve online and pay when you get there. Pros: - Staff was awesome and attentive. They had some animals out and they let the kids pet them - Decent amount of interactive stations - Live animal section was cool Cons: - With parents/grandparents watching kids this place can fill up and be busy/crowded very quickly - Pricing- for $40 for two hours I kind of felt like it was a a lot. I get it, but just my opinion, especially when they close in the middle of the day and it’s not big enough to even make a full day out of it if you wanted. - No hand sanitizer in any of the stations we visited. Don’t usually care but in small space it would be nice to have. - It’s definitely well loved and a lot of the areas are pretty worn."

"This place is cute. We brought our 1.5 year old and it was a bit too old for her because there were 8-9 year olds there. It’s very small. Good for an afternoon and maybe not when school is out!"

"Kind of small but perfect for my 3 year old. My 10 year old also enjoyed herself. Lots of little things to do to keep little hands busy. Staff was friendly and they have a big grassy area in the back which is a huge plus."

"Very impressive museum, perfect for young children and their parent to enjoy exploring and discovering something new! The live animal displays are well kept and appropriate surroundings for each one. The "little town" buildings representing old Manchester are wonderful for exploring and learning. Adults will enjoy the variety of historical items from Manchester history, which are displayed throughout the museum as well."

"First time for a 2 and 5 year old who loved it and although the museum is quite small we spent 2 1/2 hours there. Hardworking staff constantly clearing the mess made by the kids and putting "stuff" back where it belonged so kids could interact at all stations"
