"this past Thursday, February 1 my sewage pipe backed up I called router they sent technician Chad out to take a look at it. He was very knowledgeable knew everything took care of his for me and called another technician William, who has a scope, light camera to factory find where the problem is in the line he spent hours with me and temporarily fixed the problem and advise me what the next steps to board to be. I recommend them very highly they knowledgeable, respectful, polite, and I can’t say enough about them. All I can say to the company they work for Roto router these two technicians are an asset to your company , thank you so much Chad and William sincerely, Joe Capra"

"I hired someone to come to my rental house after a sudden but fairly large leak from the third floor. After he left the tenants were upset because he didn't really tell them anything or spend a lot of time there. I immediately fired him and contacted Roto-Rooter of Hartford who not only calmed my tenants down by telling them that they could still use the sink and toilet in the bathroom but they did some sort of scan to tell where the leak was coming from and that was extremely helpful. They took care of everything in a timely fashion and got it ready for the plumber. I would not hesitate to hire them in the future."

"Edit to Roto-Rooter review of 11/28/23. Two very nice concerned managers Steve and Jimmy called me this morning with in 24 hrs of posting. They wanted to follow up with my review. We had a wonderful conversation and Jeremiah will be coming,at no cost, to check the work that was completed on faucet and sink. They advised me the tech that was here was to have a licensed plumber with him, they knew who it was but had no idea at this time why he wasn’t with the person that was here. So that was resolved. They also told me I would receive a full refund of the charges for the day. Which were $1,243.80. I was so impressed with the quick, efficient response to my review. Definitely top notch service. As I have used Roto-Rooter several times in the past and I have been very happy with their services. I am so glad that they reached out to me and certainly made my day.. I had told them I would edit my review, I was not asked to do this but due to prompt response to review and their concerns I feel I should do it now. Thanks to Steven and Jimmy the managers for their excellent customer service. I will now use them again… I had called rot-rooter for faucet installation and uninstall new toilet. I asked for Jeremiah to come out and scheduled a week out. They sent someone else. Had assured me Jeremiah would come. He had come before. I was given quote. Over 600.00 to install new kitchen faucet old one had a leak. Unbelievable so average about 300.00 an hour. All for a leak. But I had no one else to do it. Cost of replacement of toilet was over 500.00 some dollars. So very expensive. But he was happy to do it. Then as we talked he was not even a licensed plumber in Connecticut. Working on Connecticut license. He had been licensed in another state but had moved here. So I paid over 1150.00 for an unlicensed plumber. Plus not person I had been assured would come to do work. The work was done well and quickly he was very nice guy. But come on. I should have denied service but I’m 76 woman and have no one to do work for me. So there you are. I will find someone else for other work and would use rotor-rooter for emergency but neither of mine was emergency."

"I am very pleased with the recent service. Staff were very knowledgeable and professional and easy to work with. All of our concerns and questions were addressed. There was much less volume of noise than expected, with the jackhammer and no vibration. We had a long-term problem which Roto Rooter resolved well. I will not hesitate to use them again. Thank you"
