"Maybe off the beaten path and a no frills location but TOP NOTCH BBQ. First time trying Roysters but will not be our last. Some of the best BBQ I have had in CT. We tried nearly every meat and side available (Brisket, Pulled Pork, Beef Ribs, Pork Ribs, and Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage plus both cornbreads, smoked mushrooms, baked beans mac n cheese and coleslaw). Every bite was fantastic! Excellent smoke rings and nice bark, great spice to the BBQ sauce. You gotta give it try if in the area. Keep it up Brian, it was nice meeting you Sat. We will see you soon!"

"This food is amazing. A hidden gem off of route 10 in Cheshire, Geoff Royster creates BBQ art. Everything from the brisket, pulled pork, and ribs to the sides and sauce is amazing! His kind and caring personality really shines in both his food and how he treats his customers. I highly recommend adding Royster’s to your “go-to” list. It’s certainly on mine!"

"COME EAT BBQ HERE! Not only is it fabulous and delicious in all the right ways, it’s more of an experience here! The staff is unbelievably friendly and nice, making suggestions, when you aren’t 100% on what to get! Big enough portions to fill you up! I would definitely come back here. It’s a bit over an hour for me driving, but I would definitely stop back in. BBQ sauces are also flavorful and spicy with kicks of heat."

"Great BBQ right in the heart of Cheshire. Melt in your mouth Pulled pork, crispy brisket, cheesy potatoes, Mac and cheese, cornbread, what a fabulous feast. The regular bbq sauce rocks, the spicy is zany, if you’re crazy they have some off the menu sauces that will knock your socks off! Good family portion sizes rock for two people!"

"Best brisket I have ever had, ribs were outstanding as well. We also had the chicken and Mac & cheese, absolutely delicious. Cornbread was also great. Loved every moment I was eating."
