"I went to this restaurant while visiting family right around the time when things just started reopening after Covid. It has been bothering for years that we couldn’t remember the name of the restaurant & my friend just randomly remembered so I had to bookmark this search & write a review. My experience hasn’t left my mind since that day years ago. This was my first time trying Thai food ever & Jeff, our waiter, couldn’t have been any more patient and helpful. He even discussed with us about visiting Thailand and gave us a referral for places to go & a friend of his to get in contact with when we get there. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We received top tier customer service & chatted with Jeff for a while after our food came. Which brings me to my next point: The food was delicious. I’ve tried many other restaurants, but nothing has compared. It was fresh, flavorful, & portions were large as the entrees are meant to be shared. We each would have drank the Thai tea by the gallon if we could’ve. This place is a gem & has a quaint charm to it. I’m so happy to have found it again & happy to see them thriving! I don’t know when I’ll be back in CT, but I refuse to visit & not stop in before I leave. Thank you!"

"This THE BEST Thai food in Connecticut!! The owner and chef, also the namesake of the restaurant, is an authentic Thai cook from Bangkok. She has created a bright space and friendly atmosphere to enjoy her incredible cuisine. Don't delay, eat there today!!"

"Had a wonderful experience. Went there twice (Fri & Sat). Food was very flavorful and delicious. Loved the ambience; very open, windows, clean. Very pleasant atmosphere. Jeff (waiter) and Chef Bee were very friendly and attentive. Understand is a new place (3 months) with a lot of potential for success. Went with a party of 5. It would have been nice if we all would have gotten our food at the same time. I definitively would recommend it to any one and will come back. Overall, it's a great place to have delicious, interesting food."

"My husband and I decided to try "Let It Be" last week--what a wonderful surprise! The food is excellent: creative, impeccably fresh, and delicious. Our shumai and pad thai were exceptional. The new owners are artists outside the kitchen too. They have transformed the former Thai Terrace into a sparkling setting, with charming murals on the walls and sprightly table top designs. The place settings--especially the beautiful brass-colored flatware--make the meal a little more special. Everything about "Let It Be" has been designed with care. It is informal, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. We will be back often."
