"The building is fine but the management is the worst. We went without a hot water heater for a month. I was called at midnight to let a neighbor into my apartment to turn off my water. When I was later asking about why it’s not getting fixed with any sense of urgency, the property manager hung up on me for being “too emotional”. The property manager is also rude in text messages. They tried to blame a sprinkler leak on melting snow (I did not live on the top floor) and after it was repaired they left a hole in the ceiling. My dishwasher leaked frequently and when they finally looked at it they said it looked like someone was cutting the seal with a knife (as if I was trying to sabotage it). And best of all when I moved out they said I should be getting my deposit back within a week then a few weeks later I got a letter saying they’re keeping it to replace all the carpets. When I sent an email to the landlord inquiring about why the carpets were deemed unsalvageable I was sent a blank email. I tried asking again only to receive another blank email. My final attempt did not even get a reply. I always paid early and did my best to respect the apartment."
"Safe place to live, clean and looks great. Management has always been nice and answers all questions I’ve had. Love that laundry is on site Apartment is spacious and nice, balcony and views are great. I’ve read many reviews on here and they seem baseless and I have only had pleasant experience here. Mgt.has no control on who smokes weed it is legal and although I don’t partake in smoking 90% of the world is doing it I believe that John and staff are working to make this place a better place for all of us to live ,feel safe and are working towards making everyone happy"
"One star is too many. This is hands down the absolute worst place. The super, John, is incredibly rude and lazy. First, we were given 3 different rent rates because no one knew what rent was supposed to be, then we moved in a few days into the month because the previous tenants wouldn't leave, and we didn't get a prorated rate, and the apartment was FILTHY. It wasn't cleaned at all after the previous tenants left. There was garbage and everything left behind. The AC unit hardly worked, and it died during a heat wave in July. The guy who came to fix it said that the super was cutting corners and that the AC would likely die again soon. The windows leaked and the super basically said 'oh well'. We paid more a month than other units because of 'lofted' ceilings, but we didn't even have a dishwasher or bathtub (as advertised) (or working AC!!!). Kids would run down the halls screaming and the whole place reeked of weed. The gym is a joke- everything is broken. The parking lot is a hazard in the winter (never salted and hardly plowed). I could go on and on but you get the point."
"We recently moved to the area from out of state and originally planned on living here. We dealt with the landlord on the phone, signed the lease electronically and finalized our move in date before driving two days to get here. When we showed up the apartment manager had no idea who we were. After a bunch or miscommunication they refused to rent to us. We had to stay a month in a hotel because of it, which was honestly way better than staying there. The whole place smells like weed and wet dog. The hallways and stairways are caked in animal hair. The apartment they showed us was disgusting. The bathroom was covered in urine. On top of all that the landlord tried to keep our deposit after refusing to rent to us. He’s a huge bully and is extremely rude. He is always talking down to everyone especially women. If I could give negative stars I would."
"I've lived here for 3 years now. When we first moved it, it was great. About a year and a half ago, the building was sold. The new management is absolutely AWFUL. They dodge calls and refuse to do repairs (massive water damage, serious plumbing issues). Both the new owner of the building and the new manager have horrendous tempers. They will yell at employees and tenants and take out all their anger."
