"When in Rome. The clam chowder was nice, especially on a night like the one we went. Fried clams - was a first for me. Nice as it was, I am not sure if i'd want a whole plate of it. Happy to nibble off BF's plate. Fish and chips was decent."
"Ordered the clam strip platter , a soda and a scoop of chocolate / peanut butter ice cream. Clam strip platter was good came with fries and coleslaw. The ice cream was probably i worst I have ever had. It was completely freezer burnt and tasted gross. Soda tasted flat and like pure syrup. Stick to the seafood at this place."
"Ordered skippers platter w strip clams, fish & chips, and Lobster roll. And a side of Mac and cheese all to go. 2 of us requested extra tarter and cocktail. After asking if we actually could have a few more cause one person didn't ask for any extra, the person who handed us our food said we put extra in the container. I said yes but one person forgot to ask for extra, I'll pay for additional if needed. They said no and handed us a few more. Got back to our house, to find the 2 of us who had asked for extra, only received one tarter and one cocktail, pretty disappointing! The Mac & cheese for $5.99 is boxed mac and cheese! We did not expect to pay $5.99 for a 1/4 box of box Mac and cheese. Staff should warn customers when they order Mac and cheese, that it's box Mac and cheese. While most of the food was good and fresh. We had a few disappointments. I would suggest asking for more tarter and cocktail when handed your takeout even after asking for extra while ordering. U'll be disappointed if you don't. Definitely advise not to get the Mac and cheese, unless you like box Mac and cheese and don't mind paying $5.99 for a 1/4 box of it."
"Hands down some of the best fried seafood in CT. We were in the area staying at the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina (which is also incredible) and we just kept coming back here everyday. The food was that good. Each one of our orders was freshly made and the staff was amazing"
