Candlewood Suites Windsor Locks Bradley Arpt, an IHG Hotel

"Have stayed at many Candlewood Suites for extended work stays. Usually really good. First snow storm predicted for over a week here in CT beginning of January there has been absolutely no snow removal here at the main road entrances,parking lot and walks. 8 inches of snow. After storm ended and nearly 24 hrs later still no plowing!!!! Called front desk several times to kindly ask and they just keep making excuses and can’t give any time for snow removal! Not even offering to get an answer and call me back! 2 days after the storm still no snow removal and the staff has no answer! Icy parking lot with no sand or salt down. Complained to IHG and nothing has been done. Bad management!!!!"

"Today the first snow storm they haven't plowed the parking lot, it's 5pm I asked them and they responded they waiting for maintenance to respond. They should be prepared ahead time like everyone else. Very inconsiderate to guesses we pay to stay here and they don't take of us . The most important for guess it's the customer service like the manager hasn't take care the safe for us The duties of the employees work at the front desk it's to receive complains and provided accommodations for the guess . This morning,John was angry response that he his job it's not clean outside. In the moments when guess pay for a long term several months here they should reconized that they get pay to their salary thanks to the guesses stay in the Hotel."

"This hotel was my favorite airport hotel. It’s gone down hill big time. Marijuana Smell in all the halls and some of the rooms. No extra pillows, and the towel count per room is bare minimum. The staff are good however but the place is getting scary with full time guests."

"Update: You can see the template response to my disgusting stay, not addressing the manager not honoring what she offered. Sad. Absolutely disgusting. I thought I did my due diligence on this property, but I was mistaken. I checked in late once I arrived in town, and was shocked at what I found. Stains, unchanged linen, dirty microwave, and toliet stains. I checked out the next morning, though I was scheduled to stay for a week. I did receive a call from the Manager, who apologized for the state of the room, and offered points, equivalent to one night's stay (at this property that's 23k). Over a month later, I had no received any points, and had to email the manager directly (I was grab a card when checking in). I checked my account and only received 5k points (you need at least 8k at this property to even receive a discount). I travel 44-49 weeks a year annually and this was one of the worst."

"My husband and his co worker stayed here last week for ONE night for a business trip. Both their credit cards’ info were stolen and over $6k worth of purchase were made. More were tried but fraud alert caught those. The only place they used the cards at were at this hotel. They have an employee either using stolen info or giving it to someone else to make purchases at their local bar and online at target, shein, and stock market purchases. Do not stay here."
