"My son has always loved the store but we had a great experience here a week ago when we were helped by Gary. We had to figure out how to put stakes with visible colors (to the snowplowing company) into our 1/2 mile gravel driveway with rocky, difficult edges. Gary found the 130 stakes we needed but better yet he came up with a plan for how we could get the thin, plastic stakes into the rocky ground without them breaking. He found the perfect mallet and a very thin, unbreakable metal skewer that we could pound in to make a hole and then put the fragile dayglow stakes into. Anyway, the point is that Gary was thoughtful, patient, kind and creative and solved our problem! Thanks Gary and thanks Tractor Supply."
"The associates seem friendly and helpful however the manager didn’t know what she was doing and seemed extremely disorganized. There is no reason an online order that is marked as ready to pickup should to take over an hour to get processed. I wouldn’t recommend picking up online orders at this location."
"It is with deep disappointment that I write this customer review. We have been loyal Tractor Supply customers for many years, and our experience last night in your Hudson store (#755) with teller Catherine, was both disrespectful and embarrassing. We came in to purchase 2 nylon horse halters. As we approached the check out counter the teller was chatting with a friend and scanned the items we had placed on the counter. Both items were the same and had a listed price of $24 each. When I was asked to sign for the purchase, the total exceeded $70. I noticed that one halter had been entered twice at the wrong price. When I pointed this out to the teller, she became rude and argumentative. It appeared that she wanted to return to her conversation with the friend she had been speaking with (who was waiting) before we came to the counter to pay for our items. I left feeling embarrassed and am questioning continuing my relationship with Tractor Supply. As a bank manager, I strive to coach my team to deliver excellent customer service. Our experience last night was the antithesis of excellent customer service. I hope this review will serve as a coaching opportunity for your team member."
"Just called the Hudson store looking for assistance. A person named Becca answered the phone. I asked if they had any black oil sunflower seed in the store. While talking to me she walked over to where it would be stacked and told me they were apparently out again. She not only took the time to physically check but also told me that freight comes in over the weekend and best time to check would be Monday. It was nice to speak with an employee of a store that didn’t make you feel you were interrupting their day. She should be commended for her work and professionalism."
"This tractor supply is VERY poorly managed. Its filthy dirty. From the shelves to the products to the bathrooms and water fountains. Everything just needs to be cleaned and redone. Honestly, i think walmart has cleaner bathrooms. Water all over the floors, toilet paper everywhere. Toilets clogged and walls, toilets and sinks stained brown and green. Went in for a few items, they tell me it says they have it in stock but they can't find it. They then say it could be in the back and just to come back in a few hours to see if its out on shelves yet. Also, went there for baby chicks.... When picking them out, found 6 dead ones trampled and crushed to death. Some had been dead for quite sometimes as rigor mortis had truly set in and eye sockets withering. Took 8 home, with 16 hrs....6 of them were dead. I was told to come In and they would replace them. This time i took home 4 and got refunded for 4. Got home, 2 more died within 6 hours. I didnt bothering getting them replaced. Honestly, i avoid this store now and prefer ro drive to Kingston or Glenmont. Someone needs to turn this store around."
