Welcome to Taradale Dirt Park & Pump Track! Located at 480 Gloucester Street in Napier, New Zealand, our institution is a point of interest for mountain biking enthusiasts in the Hawke's Bay region.

Taradale Dirt Park & Pump Track is affiliated with the Hawke's Bay Mountain Bike Club (HBMTBC), which was founded in 1991. We gained full-time access to the privately owned Pan Pac Tangoio Forest in 1995 and became an incorporated society in 1998. As one of New Zealand's largest cycling clubs, with approximately 2200 members, we are proud to promote, facilitate, encourage, and develop mountain biking in our region.

Our institution's home is the renowned Pan Pac Mountain Bike Park, situated just a 10-minute drive north of Napier. With approximately 44km of trails spread over 530ha of private forestry, our park offers a thrilling and diverse riding experience. However, due to recent land slips and fallen trees caused by water subsiding, all tracks in the Pan Pac MTB trail network are currently closed for safety reasons.

Getting our mountain biking community back on their bikes is our top priority. We understand the passion and dedication of our members, who are eager to contribute to the rebuilding efforts. However, we require the necessary tools and funding to enable both our dedicated volunteers and paid track builders to restore the trails. We believe that our bikes bring us joy, especially during difficult times, and we are determined to bring our park back to life!
