Welcome to Nature Connect, located at Puketapu, Hawkes Bay in beautiful New Zealand. Nestled in a native bush setting with majestic trees, abundant wildlife, and a gentle flowing stream, our institution offers a tranquil environment that encourages children to fully immerse themselves in and appreciate the wonders of fauna and flora.

At Nature Connect, we believe in providing children with the time and space they need to connect with nature and each other. Our experiences are child-initiated and seamlessly blend with New Zealand culture, Māori perspective, Environmental Education, Sustainable Practices, and Project Play. Through our programs, children are encouraged to engage all their senses, be physically active, unleash their creativity and imagination, explore with purpose, delve into engrossed play schemes, and foster meaningful relationships.

Our special place at Puketapu offers the perfect balance that children need in the twenty-first century. We understand the importance of connecting with nature and how it positively impacts children's overall well-being. That's why our Manager/Owner, Sonia Codd, a qualified early childhood teacher with extensive experience in teaching, leadership, and management, is dedicated to sharing her wealth of knowledge and education with children of all ages. Sonia's passion for children, sustainability, and the incredible offerings of nature shines through in everything we do at Nature Connect.
