Welcome to the Child and Adolescent Therapist, located in the beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand. As a registered Social Worker, I am dedicated to providing counseling services to individuals struggling with their mental health. My passion lies in supporting families and children in navigating situations that impact their overall wellbeing.

Having lived in Queenstown for over 10 years, I have gained extensive experience working with people from all walks of life and across various age groups. While I specialize in working with children and young people, I am also available to see adults seeking assistance.

I have received training and possess expertise in a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness approaches. During our sessions, my primary focus is to create a comfortable environment where individuals can openly discuss their challenges and work towards positive change.

As a registered Social Worker, I adhere to a strict Code of Conduct that ensures the highest standards of behavior, integrity, and conduct. Regular training is a requirement to maintain my registration, which provides you with the assurance that you are receiving care from a qualified professional, protected under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003.

At Child and Adolescent Therapist, I offer a range of services, including therapy for both individuals and families, supervision for Registered Health Professionals, and counseling services for Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).

With a commitment to evidence-based treatment, I am able to provide support for a wide variety of mental health difficulties. Some of the common issues I can assist individuals with include anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and relationship difficulties.

Additionally, I am also able to provide clinical supervision for Mental Health Professionals, ensuring that they receive the guidance and support they need in their own practice.

Confidentiality is of utmost importance in my work, and any sharing of information will be discussed with you beforehand. My goal is to create a safe and trusting space for you to openly express yourself.

During our first appointment, we will spend time getting to know each other. This will involve gathering information about your current situation, taking a thorough history, and formulating goals for our work together.

If you are unable to attend an appointment, please provide 48 hours notice so that the slot can be offered to someone else. Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged at the full fee.
