Our commitment to qualified teachers ensures that your child receives the best education and ongoing development trends in early childhood education.

As a Not-For-Profit Incorporated Society and registered charity, we prioritize the well-being and education of children above all else. Our governance structure follows the New Zealand Institute of Directors' Four Pillars methodology, demonstrating our commitment to best practice governance. We are a member-led organization representing 14 local Kindergarten Associations, each governed by a board of elected and appointed members.

At Beryl McCombs Kindergarten, our teaching staff is 100% qualified and registered, adhering to the same legislation and code of practice as teachers in schools. This ensures that your child receives the highest level of care and education during their time with us.

In addition to our work with member Associations, we collaborate with Early Childhood Leadership (ECL) and Central Kids Kindergarten Associations, as well as other Early Childhood Education Peak Bodies. This partnership allows us to advance mutually beneficial agendas and stay at the forefront of early childhood education practices.

We operate during specific periods throughout the year, from late January to Thursday 14 April, and from Monday 17 October to late December. However, we recommend checking with your local association for exact dates and any additional information.
