UC Security and Campus Community Support

Welcome to UC Security and Campus Community Support, located at Christchurch, Ilam Road, 114. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students and staff at the University of Canterbury.

Our dedicated team of Security Officers patrol the campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are always ready to provide assistance and support whenever needed. Trained in First Aid and the use of the University's defibrillator, our officers are well-equipped to handle any emergency, including cardiac arrest. Whether on foot or in vehicles, our officers are constantly monitoring the campus, ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

Approachable and knowledgeable, our UC Security Officers are always willing to help. If you find yourself lost or in need of assistance, don't hesitate to approach one of our officers. They can provide directions and answer any questions you may have about the campus.

At UC, the safety and security of our community is of utmost importance. We strive to create a secure campus environment that benefits every person who uses it. To further enhance safety measures, we have installed 13 help towers across campus. These towers provide information at any time and immediate assistance in case of emergencies.
