St Peter's School

Welcome to St Peter's School in Christchurch, New Zealand! Thank you for visiting our website and taking the time to learn about our wonderful school community. At St Peter's, we believe in providing your child with the opportunity to become part of a close-knit community of families.

As a state integrated full-primary Catholic school, we cater to students from new entrants to Year 8. Our school is guided by Catholic faith and gospel values, which are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to instill in our students a lifelong love for learning and a strong moral compass.

One of our core values is respecting and caring for the environment. We teach our students to use respectful language, keep their hands and feet to themselves, and actively listen to others. We also emphasize the importance of being peacemakers and problem solvers, showing consideration for those who need a quiet space, and being aware of others' feelings and responding positively.

We encourage our students to maintain a positive attitude in all situations, to keep trying and be confident in joining in, asking questions, and giving answers. We also emphasize the importance of speaking up and acting on what is right, welcoming new children and their families, and being caring, kind, and compassionate.

Our school term for Term 2 2023 runs from 24th April (please note this is a Teacher Only Day) to 30th June 2023. We value the partnership between our school and our families, and we look forward to working together to provide the best education for your child.
