Welcome to The Rabbit Patch Pre-School, located in Christchurch, New Zealand, at 161 Greers Road. We are not your average preschool. Just ask the families who are already a part of our wonderful community. They will tell you that our approach to early childhood education is truly unique.
Inspired by the world-renowned Preschools of Reggio Emilia in Northern Italy, we strive to provide children with the very best in childcare and education. If you haven't had the chance to visit us yet, we highly recommend that you come and see what sets us apart.
For infants and toddlers, our caregiving routines are an integral part of their learning journey. We believe that every moment is an opportunity for growth and development. Our program is designed to encourage curiosity, wonder, and imagination, ensuring that every child feels welcomed and nurtured.
At The Rabbit Patch, we believe that listening to children's voices is essential to their learning process. We value their ideas, theories, and hypotheses, and encourage them to explore and test their own understanding. The more you get to know us, the more we will explain our unique approach.
Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to be beautiful, spacious, and inspiring. We utilize natural light and materials to stimulate children's imagination and creativity. Additionally, our expansive outdoor play areas provide a private and tranquil setting for exploration and discovery.
What truly sets us apart is our indoor and outdoor Atelier (art studio) spaces. Children have the opportunity to deepen their investigations alongside our Atelierista (artist in residence), fostering their artistic and creative abilities.
