Welcome to Core Pilates and Mind, a boutique Pilates studio located in Christchurch, New Zealand. Our studio is dedicated to providing a supportive and community-oriented environment for individuals to nurture their body and mind.

Founded in 2018 by Jodi Koster, Core Pilates and Mind offers a range of small group classes in Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, and Yoga. Our highly trained and passionate team focuses on every individual, fostering a community that motivates and encourages each member through their health journey.

At Core Pilates and Mind, we believe that health and fitness should be enjoyable, not a chore. That's why we strive to incorporate a sense of fun into all of our classes. Our instructors will support you in gaining elevated health through control, balance, and strength.

Our small group classes are designed to cater to each and every participant. Our instructors offer different levels throughout the class to ensure that everyone leaves feeling successful. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, we have classes to suit all fitness and experience levels.

We offer a variety of membership options, including 6-month memberships, 10-class concession passes, and casual class passes. Our customised and personalised classes are designed to exceed your health and mental well-being expectations. We provide inclusive Pilates and Yoga classes that support self-confidence, mental clarity, acceptance, self-love, and reduced stress.

Experience the benefits of our Pilates Reformer classes, which focus on deep muscle activation and control using resistance and body weight exercises. Suitable for all fitness levels, these classes will strengthen, tone, and tighten your body, one class at a time.

If you're looking for a mind-body connection, our Stretch and Tone classes are the perfect fit. These classes allow you to stretch, tone, and lengthen your muscles while tapping into your physical and spiritual body. Our instructors will guide you through traditional teachings with modifications provided for all fitness levels.

Learn the fundamentals of Pilates and engage your deep core and stabilising muscles in our Mat Work Pilates classes. These classes focus on correct alignment, technique, and control while loading and lengthening the muscles of your body.

Looking for a dynamic and fun workout? Try our Barre classes, which combine elements of dance, Pilates, and yoga, all done to the beat of music. Suitable for any fitness level, no dance experience is required!

For an intense cardiovascular workout, join our High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) classes. Using the reformer, this class combines timed intervals and a strategic combination of exercises to strengthen and condition the entire body. Get ready to sweat and blast calories in just 45 minutes!

We also offer specialized classes for those aged 65 and over. Our Reformer Pilates classes focus on building strength in limbs and the core, regaining flexibility, and improving balance. It's a low-impact and enjoyable way to burn calories and regain a quality of movement in life.
