Lincoln Playcentre

Welcome to Lincoln Playcentre, located at 158 North Belt in New Zealand. At Lincoln Playcentre, we offer a unique and engaging early childhood education experience for both children and their parents/caregivers.

Unlike other educational institutions, at Playcentre, parents and caregivers actively participate in their child's learning journey. This allows for a strong bond to be formed between parent and child, as well as a sense of community among families.

At Lincoln Playcentre, we provide a fun and safe environment for children to learn and explore. Our focus is on nurturing the curiosity and creativity of our tamariki (children), allowing them to discover more about themselves and the world around them.

Your child will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of activities, including exploring, creating, climbing, reading, singing, experimenting, playing music, dressing up in costumes, face painting, gardening, carpentry with real tools, baking and cooking, building sandcastles, swinging, sliding, dancing, spending time in nature, and getting messy. Every day brings something new and exciting for our young learners.

One of the unique aspects of Playcentre is the diverse range of skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds that parents bring to the learning environment. This creates a rich and dynamic atmosphere where children can learn from a variety of perspectives.

We welcome families with children aged 0-6 years to join our Playcentre. The mixed age play setting allows children to interact with peers who are both older and younger than themselves. This fosters important social skills such as communication, sharing, and empathy towards younger peers.

Beyond the educational benefits, Playcentre also provides a place for families to come together and form lifelong friendships. The sense of community and support among our Playcentre families is truly special.
