The Dance Corner

Welcome to The Dance Corner, a local dance studio located in the beautiful Maraetai Beach Community Hall. At The Dance Corner, our mission is to provide high-quality dance lessons in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. We believe in creating a nurturing and supportive environment where students can develop their dance skills and experience the joy of movement.

Throughout the year, our students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of dance experiences. One of the highlights is the NZAMD syllabus exam work, where students can earn a nationally recognized qualification. We are proud to be affiliated with NZAMD, the largest dance examination organization in New Zealand. This allows our students to showcase their talent and dedication by sitting exams in November/December.

In addition to exams, we also organize an annual dance production that gives our students the chance to perform on stage in front of a large audience. Our showcases are full of excitement and fun, and we encourage all family and friends to join us for this unforgettable event.

For our advanced students, we offer the opportunity to participate in dance competitions around Auckland. We also provide solo private lessons to help students further enhance their skills and reach their full potential.

At The Dance Corner, we believe that dance should be a positive and enjoyable experience for all. That's why we make all of our opportunities, including exams and competitions, non-compulsory. We want our students to develop a love for dance and feel encouraged to express themselves freely.
