Welcome to Tai Tapu Lodge, a boutique accommodation nestled in the heart of a heritage environment in Tai Tapu, New Zealand. Our lodge offers a relaxing, rural setting while still being conveniently close to Christchurch and Lincoln.

Surrounded by fruit trees and herb gardens, Tai Tapu Lodge features four unique accommodations that showcase their own distinct character. The Barn, a heritage-listed "coach stop," and the Creamery have been tastefully renovated into contemporary suites that can comfortably accommodate up to nine guests. For a truly rejuvenating experience, we also offer a wood-fired hot tub exclusively for our guests' use.

Situated just 20 minutes from Christchurch, Tai Tapu Lodge is the perfect base for exploring the diverse attractions and activities that the area has to offer. However, please note that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all guests and their visitors must be double vaccinated for everyone's safety.

At Tai Tapu Lodge, we believe in providing a hassle-free and enjoyable stay for our guests. Cleaning services are naturally included at the end of your stay, and unlimited internet access is available from all of our suites. Additionally, recharge your day by taking a leisurely stroll through our 12 acres of gardens and orchards.

For those looking to indulge in a culinary treat, we offer generous fresh cheeseboards at an additional cost, perfect for couples seeking a romantic retreat. Tai Tapu itself is a heritage and leafy village with a vibrant community life. Explore the numerous coffee shops, dining options, a 9-hole golf course, and scenic walks and trails.
