Welcome to Salvation Army Employment Plus, located at Matamata, Elizabeth Street, 2 in New Zealand. As an establishment, point of interest, and store, we are dedicated to providing assistance and support to over 120,000 families and individuals in need each year. Our range of services includes budgeting advice, food and clothing assistance, life skills programs, and other comfort and support measures.

The High Council chamber holds a special significance as it serves as a sacred place of prayer. Recently, delegates from various age groups, cultures, and backgrounds participated in a meaningful event, exemplifying our inclusive approach towards creating a better world.

We are thrilled to announce that registrations for Thought Matters 2023, our annual conference, are now open. This year, we have an esteemed Keynote Speaker who will share insights and inspire attendees with their expertise.

Child poverty reduction has become a pressing issue in our society, and we are actively engaging with politicians to seek their commitment and plans for addressing this concern. The Salvation Army Social Policy and Parliamentary Unit is leading the way in advocating for jobs, incomes, and tax reforms during this election period.

Looking ahead, the Territorial Commander has approved upcoming appointments that will come into effect on Thursday, 11th January 2024. This highlights our continuous dedication to serving the community and making a lasting impact.
