"Went in this morning and while 1 staff member briefly acknowledged my presence on arrival, I was not assisted or acknowledged by any of the 3 staff after that, despite trying on clothes and being in the store for some time. Not impressed! When I mentioned this to a competitor I subsequently bought goods from, they said they hear the same comments consistently from shoppers. Won't be back any time soon."
"I was after some good socks, having bought some Kathmandu-branded socks in Chch when that store was opening. I found the stand of K-branded socks easily enough, but finding the right size and height above the ankle took more time and quite a lot of care. The different sizes were rather mixed up, probably by customers like yours truly putting them back in the wrong place, and being the week between Christmas and New Year, they were probably running with a skeleton staff (but that is way more useful than being closed!). My problem was trying to link the Name such as "crew" to the length of the sock. I did not see any poster around that decoded the Name on the pkgs to the attributes that changed from one Name to the next. Hence I gave 4 stars at the start rather than 5."
