Welcome to Woodend Playcentre, located at 6B School Road in the heart of New Zealand. At Woodend Playcentre, we offer a unique early childhood education experience that involves both children and their parents or caregivers.

Our Playcentre provides a fun and safe environment for children to learn and explore. We believe in nurturing the curiosity and creativity of our tamariki (children) in a way that allows them to discover more about themselves and the world around them.

Here, your child will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of activities. They can explore, create, climb, read, sing, experiment, play music, dress up in costumes, have their face painted, tend to the garden, learn carpentry with real tools, bake and cook, build sandcastles, swing, slide, dance, spend time in nature, and get messy! With activities changing daily, there is always something new and exciting to discover.

What sets us apart is the diverse community of Playcentre parents. Each parent brings their unique skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds, creating a rich learning environment for all.

We welcome families with children aged 0 to 6 years. Our mixed-age play allows children to interact with peers of different ages, fostering communication, sharing, and empathy. It's a wonderful opportunity for pre-schoolers to develop important social skills while engaging with their younger peers.

At Woodend Playcentre, families come together, forming lifelong friendships. We believe in the power of community and the support it provides for both children and parents.
