Papakura Music School

Welcome to Papakura Music School, located in Auckland, New Zealand. Our school is situated at Park Estate Road, providing a convenient and accessible location for students and parents alike.

At Papakura Music School, we are dedicated to providing primary and intermediate aged students with the opportunity to learn a musical instrument at affordable rates. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has some experience, our classes are designed to cater to all skill levels.

For younger children aged four to six years, we offer Pre-Instrumental classes that serve as an introduction to the captivating world of music. These classes aim to ignite a passion for music and lay a strong foundation for future musical development.

Older students are encouraged to consider recorder, ukulele, or keyboard classes as their first instrument. These instruments serve as a stepping stone towards more demanding instruments or help students explore their musical preferences before committing to a specific instrument. From saxophone and trombone to cello and everything in-between, we offer a wide range of instruments for our older children to choose from.

Papakura Music School is a non-profit institution run by volunteer parents as an incorporated society. We greatly value your involvement as a parent and rely on your support to keep our school running smoothly. If you are interested in contributing your time and skills, please let us know when you enroll your child.

Classes are held on Saturday mornings between 8am and 12pm at our new location, Mangapikopiko School. Located at 202 Park Estate Road, Papakura, this new venue provides a conducive and inspiring environment for students to learn and grow.

Please note that we are no longer accepting enrolments for 2023, but online enrolments for 2024 will open in mid-December.
