East Tamaki Primary School

Welcome to East Tamaki Primary School, located in Auckland, New Zealand. Our school motto, Kia Kotahi Tātou, drives our commitment to unity and collaboration. At East Tamaki School, we work together as one with our students, families, and staff to create a supportive and orderly learning environment.

Our school is built on four pillars that support our partnerships: Inspire Learners, Strengthen Mana, and Influence the Future. These pillars guide us in fostering a culture of inspiration, empowerment, and growth. We believe in instilling values such as manaakitanga (hospitality), piripono (commitment), whanaungatanga (relationships), and kaitiakitanga (stewardship) in our students.

Our curriculum offers a wide range of learning opportunities for our students. They can participate in the Garden to Table program, a specialist science program, and benefit from being a Green-Gold Enviroschool. We also have a purpose-built bike track and bikes for students to enjoy. Additionally, our school has two roopu (groups) - Tōtara and Pōhutukawa - that provide further avenues for personal and cultural growth.

At East Tamaki School, we are proud of our amazing team. With a dedicated staff and a large group of volunteers, we ensure the well-being and learning of our whānau (extended family). We value inclusivity and warmly welcome everyone to our school community.
