Welcome to Kids Count Marne Road, a Kiwi-owned family childcare center located in Auckland, New Zealand. Our center is dedicated to ensuring that every child can reach their full potential, regardless of their family circumstances. We believe that education is a crucial foundation for future happiness and success, starting in the home and supported by attending a preschool center like ours.

Founded by Mary, Kids Count was created to remove barriers and provide all children with a great start in life. With six centers across Auckland and Wellington, we continue to expand the benefits of early childhood education to all children and their families.

At Kids Count, our values guide our behavior and decision-making processes. We promise every parent who entrusts their child to us a nurturing and safe environment for their little ones to learn and thrive. We understand the lasting influence that quality early childhood education can have, leading to reduced health issues, meaningful work, and meaningful relationships throughout a child's life.

To ensure our services are accessible, we provide a free transport service for those who need it. We also keep our fees low to make our services affordable for all families. Additionally, we provide free food, ensuring that children have full tummies and are free from hungry worries.

We believe that every child deserves to be the key focus of our efforts. Their needs always come first, and we advocate for their well-being. For children aged 4 and above, we offer a Transition to School program to ensure a successful start in big school.

Each child is unique, with their own personality, abilities, and sense of wonder. At Kids Count, we nurture, safeguard, and push boundaries to foster confidence in themselves and in others, allowing each child to move towards their potential. They will also learn empathy, compassion, and courage.

Our family support services extend to those who may benefit from additional support and advocacy. We understand that caring for young children is demanding, but also incredibly meaningful and critical work. We witness children grow in confidence, ability, empathy, and see their personalities emerge.

Being an early childhood teacher requires teamwork, diligence, selflessness, and a genuine care for children. It is a big effort, but the rewards are immense.
