McAuley High School
About the Business
Welcome to McAuley High School, a Catholic Mercy school for girls located in Otāhuhu, Auckland. With a student body of 800, we offer classes from Year 9 to Year 13.
At McAuley High School, we uphold the five Mercy values of Awhina, Whakarangatira, Aroha, Tika, and Panekiretanga. These values are rooted in the gospel and guide everything we do. Christ is at the center of our school community, and our students see each other as sisters, supporting and encouraging one another to become the best versions of themselves.
Our school provides a safe and supportive environment where girls are empowered to succeed in all aspects of life. Our dedicated teachers and staff are passionate about giving every student the best opportunity to thrive. We have high expectations for our students, focusing on attendance, punctuality, uniform, and behavior, so that they can fully concentrate on their learning. As a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) school, we require every student to bring a laptop to school daily.
We believe in working in partnership with whanau (family) to create the best possible environment for our girls. We continuously strive to provide an outstanding Catholic education that brings joy to our students.
Our school year is divided into four terms: Term 1 runs from 1st February to 6th April, Term 2 from 26th April to 30th June, Term 3 from 17th July to 22nd September, and Term 4 from 9th October to 8th December.

"Not very good, when handling situations of bullying. Senior staff do nothing."
"Teachers really give up more time for students such as lunch, after school or school holiday tutorials for certain subjects. Gives students the opportunity to catch up or understand difficulties they are having apart from an excuse to run away from doing feaus at home n being with your friends hahaha end results PASS thats all that matters :)"
"Perfect school ❤️ Girls learn to strengthen their relationship with God. Also a great school academically."
