Te Tuhi Community Kindergarten, located in Tāmaki Makaurau, is a renowned establishment and point of interest in New Zealand. As a Not-For-Profit Incorporated Society and registered charity, we operate under the guidance of a board comprising elected and appointed members. Our governance adheres to the New Zealand Institute of Directors' Four Pillars methodology, reflecting our commitment to best practice. Currently, we represent 14 local Kindergarten Associations, each of which is also a Not-For-Profit Incorporated Society and registered charity.

Our teaching staff consists of 100% qualified professionals who are registered teachers. They adhere to the same legislation and code of practice as teachers in schools, ensuring that your child receives the highest standard of education.

In addition to collaborating with our member Associations, we work in partnership with Early Childhood Leadership (ECL) and various Kindergarten Associations, such as Counties Manukau, Waikato, and Central Kids. These partnerships allow us to advance mutually beneficial agendas and collaborate with other Early Childhood Education Peak Bodies.

Our operating schedule varies, but typically, we are open from late January to Thursday 14 April, and from Monday 17 October to late December. We advise you to check with your local association for specific dates.
