At Early Learning Counties Manukau - Wattle Cove, we pride ourselves on being a high-quality, well-resourced early learning center. Our team consists of qualified, registered teachers and teachers in training, ensuring that your child receives the best care and education possible. We cater to children aged 6 months to 5 years old, offering flexible enrollment options from 2-5 days per week.

Our center values individuality and promotes lifelong learning. We invite you and your whānau (family) to be a part of your child's preschool years and actively participate in their educational journey. Building strong relationships with our families allows us to collaboratively create valuable learning opportunities for your child. We believe in affirming children as capable and independent learners, providing an environment where they have the freedom to make choices and explore at their own pace.

Inspired by the Pikler and Reggio theories and approaches, our center embraces love, respect, and inquiry-based learning. We provide a structured environment that allows children to choose their own path of exploration, while our teachers support their inquiry learning and become co-researchers alongside them.

We have established strong relationships with surrounding schools to ensure a smooth transition to school for all our children. Our program planning is based on Te Whāriki, the New Zealand early childhood curriculum, which incorporates the cultural heritage of both partners to Te Tiriti O Waitangi. Additionally, we are proud participants in the Enviroschools program, which encourages children to plan, design, and implement sustainability actions important to them and their communities.

Conveniently located next to Reremoana School, on the corner of Scotsmoor Drive and Hadley Wood Drive in Wattle Cove, our center offers a safe and accessible location for families.

We understand the importance of providing nutritious meals for your child, which is why our fees include a healthy lunch and nutritious morning and afternoon snacks. Parents only need to provide nappies and formula/milk for babies. Additionally, your family may be eligible for child-care subsidy assistance from Work and Income NZ.
