Welcome to Manurewa West Kindergarten, located in the heart of Manurewa, Auckland. Since 1978, we have been an integral part of your community, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for your children's learning and development.

At Manurewa West Kindergarten, we believe in the power of play and discovery as essential components of a child's learning journey. Our child-initiated environment encourages exploration and creativity, fostering a love for learning in each child. We value and embrace the social, cultural, and ethnic diversity of our children and families, and strive to create a strong partnership with all families/whānau, incorporating their unique backgrounds and perspectives into our program. In our everyday communication with the children, we incorporate Te Reo and other Pacific languages, celebrating and promoting cultural diversity.

We work closely with Rowandale Primary School, ensuring a seamless transition to school for our kindergarten graduates through our Transition to School Programme. Additionally, our kindergarten boasts a vibrant vegetable garden, where the children actively participate in planting, watering, and harvesting. The resulting produce is shared with our kindergarten families and the wider community, fostering a sense of community engagement and sustainability.

Operating from 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, we offer all-day sessions to accommodate the needs of working families. For those seeking a shorter session, we also provide six-hour sessions from 8.45am to 2.45pm, Monday to Friday.
