We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the 3rd Oceania Cup and Hapkido Festival on August 19th-20th, 2023. This prestigious event is open to members of all NZ Hapkido schools and individuals from other martial arts styles within our network. It is an international gathering that will feature a team of 19 South Korean instructors and students, as well as a team of 5 New Zealandn instructors and students.

Leading the Korean team is Grand Master Scott Seo (8th Dan) from Seoul, accompanied by Master Choi (7th Dan) from Changwon City. Both have been part of our past events, adding a touch of expertise to the proceedings. The New Zealandn team is led by Master Andrew Hooley (5th Dan) from Brisbane, ensuring a diverse and enriching experience for all participants. Additionally, we are honored to have Master Tan from Korea, the Vice-President of the World Kido Federation / Hanminjok Hapkido Association, attending our event. This is a significant milestone for us, as it marks the first time such a senior figure from his esteemed organization has participated in an event outside of South Korea or the USA.

In recognition of our commitment to excellence, we are proud recipients of the ActiveActivities Most Popular 2022 Award. This accolade places us among the top 25 activities for kids in Upper Hutt for 2022, solidifying our reputation as a trusted institution within the community.
