Welcome to Danzworx, located at 3B Freyberg Road in Upper Hutt, New Zealand! We are thrilled that you have found us and we can't wait to share our love for dance with you.

Danzworx has been a proud institution in the Upper Hutt community for over 25 years. Our three spacious and vibrant dance studios are always abuzz with activity, as our dedicated team of regular and guest teachers create an environment filled with laughter and fun. We are proud to be registered with the New Zealand Association of Modern Dance, ensuring that our students receive the highest quality dance education.

At Danzworx, we believe that every individual is a star. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer, we have a wide range of dance styles to offer. In 2023, we are excited to offer classes in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Funk, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Stretch Leap and Spin, Pointe Preparation, and Strength and Body Conditioning. Whatever your passion may be, we have a class that will suit your interests and help you grow as a dancer.

We also cater to our littlest dancers with our preschool Ballet & Fusion classes. These classes are designed to introduce young children and their caregivers to the joy of dance in a nurturing and supportive environment. Our classes run for 30 minutes, ensuring that our young dancers can fully engage and have fun while learning the foundations of dance.

For our junior levels, we offer syllabus work in Ballet to prepare our dancers for exams. We also provide the opportunity to explore rhythm and music in a friendly and fun environment through our Funk and Lyrical classes. Our intermediate students continue to progress through the syllabus levels in Ballet and Contemporary, with the option of open class work in Funk and Lyrical. These students have the opportunity to sit their final exams and further develop their dance skills.

We believe that dance is for everyone, regardless of age. That's why we offer adult classes in Ballet, Funk, Tap, and Lyrical. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or a beginner, our adult classes provide a welcoming and supportive environment for you to express yourself through dance.

For our youngest dancers, we offer a music and movement class that engages their imagination through popular songs and the use of props. This class operates on a 10-Trip ticket system, allowing flexibility for busy families.

We also have a ballet-based class specifically designed for more "mature" aspiring dancers. This class focuses on using core muscles for balance and strength, while incorporating music and movement to stimulate muscle development.

You can find us at Seddon Rifle Range on 3 Freyberg Rd, Trentham in Upper Hutt. We are conveniently located near the National Rifle Association and Karori Rifle Club.
