This project was a result of a two-year involvement from Playground People and a four-year process for the Hutt City Council. The Playground People team, led by Dave, has been instrumental in creating a space that is not only suitable for our community but also promotes physical development and coordination for children. Their expertise in playground design and installation has been invaluable, and we highly recommend their services.
The chimes in our play space have become an instant favorite among children of all ages. From junior school to senior school, everyone is drawn to the musical instruments and enjoys experimenting and playing with them. Even teachers can't resist giving them a try!
In addition to Avalon Park, Playground People has also installed a new playground and nature play area for our Year 1-4 students. The result has been met with delight from students, staff, and parents alike. The play structures are not only attractive but also challenging, while the outdoor musical instruments in the nature play area create a serene atmosphere.
We are proud to say that we have had a long-standing partnership with Playground People, having built four playgrounds over the past 10 years. The quality of their equipment is exceptional, showcasing its longevity and durability. We trust Playground People as our go-to manufacturer for all our playground needs.
Recently, Playground People has also completed the installation of a purpose-built community playground at Weber. Their exceptional customer service and willingness to listen to our ideas and requests made the collaboration a seamless experience. "This is a haven made for small kids, especially for parents that have a couple or more. It is a fully fenced off section with various sensory activities such as sounds play, sand and just toys people leave behind. There is also a good amount lawn on the section so you can kick a ball around, and it also comes with its own bathroom. There is also a really cool sandpit and most of the playground itself is shaded. Excellent place to relax with little ones."
