Long Bay Primary School caters to students from New Entrant level through to Year 6. Our classes are divided into six teaching teams: Kōwhai (New Entrant – Year 1), Rimu (Year 2), Manuka (Year 3), Nikau (Year 4), Tōtara (Year 5/6), and Kauri (Year 5/6). This ensures that our students receive age-appropriate and tailored education to meet their individual needs.

To plan your visit or find out more about our school, please refer to our term dates. Term 3 runs from Mon 17 Jul to Fri 22 Sep, and Term 4 from Mon 9 Oct to Thu 14 Dec. For the following year, Term 1 starts on Tue 30 Jan and ends on Fri 12 Apr, followed by Term 2 from Mon 29 Apr to Fri 5 Jul. Term 3 then runs from Mon 22 Jul to Fri 27 Sep, with Term 4 starting on Mon 14 Oct and concluding on Fri 13 Dec.
