Waiuku College
About the Business
Welcome to Waiuku College, an exceptional co-educational secondary school located in Franklin, Auckland, New Zealand. With approximately 900 students ranging from Year 9 to 13, we provide a comprehensive learning experience that focuses not only on academic achievement but also offers extensive opportunities in Culture, Leadership, Arts, Service, and Sport.
As a BYOD Microsoft 365 school, we strive to offer our students a local and global learning opportunity anytime and anywhere. Our commitment to providing the best possible education is rooted in our three core values: Whanaungatanga (relationships, responsibility), Whakaute (pride, respect, appreciation), and Kaitiakitanga (guardianship, sustainability). These values are deeply ingrained in the fabric of our school, known as Te Ara O Waiuku (The Waiuku Way).
As the principal of Waiuku College, I see our school as A CLASS, where our priorities lie in Academics, supported by opportunities in Culture, Leadership, Arts, Service, and Sport. We believe in fostering the character, competence, and confidence of our students, empowering them to become the best versions of themselves.
I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of everyone involved in Tournament Week 2023. To all the students who represented Waiuku College with pride and passion, thank you for your dedication. I couldn't be prouder of your achievements. Congratulations to our Boys' Premier Basketball team for finishing 10th at Tournament Week. Your hard work and commitment are truly commendable.
